    Class MidiCapture

    Records MIDI messages from one or all inputs, stamped on a TakeClock.

    Devices that connect during a take are picked up automatically; devices that disconnect are released. System messages (clock, active sensing, SysEx) are not recorded.

    • Start recording.

      Parameters

      • clock: TakeClock

        The take clock events are stamped against

      Returns Promise<MidiInputInfo[]>

      The inputs being listened to. Empty when the requested input is not connected yet; it is attached automatically if it appears later.

    • Ask the browser for MIDI access (without SysEx). Prompts the user the first time.

      Returns Promise<MIDIAccess>
