Remove an accepted note's harmonic series from a spectrum, in place.
Each partial is reduced by the larger of what the idealised series predicts
(the fundamental's level falling off by 1/k) and attributionShare of
what was actually measured there — never by more than is present. Real
instruments do not follow 1/k (a 2nd partial can be louder than the
fundamental), so the measured share stops a loud partial from being
re-claimed as a note of its own, while the remainder stays available to a
note that genuinely shares the partial.
