A question answered by playing, judged from the notes heard: each note to
play right, wrong — another played in its place — or missing. A note is
right by its name, in any octave, except where the octave makes the
answer: notes in order are played in one octave throughout (one slip of
the microphone between them let through), so an interval up is not the
note below; and the lowest of notes played together must be the one asked
for at the bottom. Notes in order are set against what was heard by name alone, so a
wrong note, one left out or one put in is found where it was, however the
playing went in time; notes together are judged as the set played. Right
only when every note is and nothing else was played. The report is a graded take's, so
reportNoteStyles draws it on the staff as it draws a take — with the
note played in a wrong one's place beside it — and TakeReport lists it.
