    Interface MixerState

    The local listener's mixer: how loud each REMOTE participant plays for THIS user, in dB relative to the stream as received.

    Local only — it changes what this user hears, never what is sent, recorded, or heard by anyone else. A participant absent from the map plays at 0 dB through the direct path (no Web Audio); a chain is built only for a participant whose gain is not 0. Remembered per remote user id when persistDeviceChanges is on, so a teacher's balance for a regular student survives to the next lesson.
